Tuesday, July, 26th

  1. Summer $1 Movie (almost no charge) @ Fallen Timbers at 10am- Norm of the North
  2. Pokemon Go Trail Adventure @ Wildwood Preserve Metropark 10am-noon, meet at Visitor Center-Incubate your eggs and take a crack at the trails while chasing real and virtual wildlife on this naturalist lead adventure. Bring a picnic lunch and a USB charging cable. Charging stations are available in most Metroparks.
  3. Camping with Toledo Metroparks @ Toledo Heights Branch 6-7PM -The Toledo Metroparks is bringing their camping gear to show us how to live in the great outdoors.

Wednesday, July, 27th

  1. Summer $1 Movie (almost no charge) @ Franklin Park 16 at 10am- Norm of the North
  2. Brown Bag Concert 12:15-1:15pm- Extra Stout (Irish/folk) -Bring a blanket, pack a picnic, and enjoy!! Concert is located on the North Lawn of the Main Library, 325 Michigan St., in downtown Toledo.
  3. Children’s Theatre of Michiga @ the Main Library in McMaster Center 1:30-2:30PM- Award-winning family entertainers Janet Marie & m’Archibald invite audiences to wiggle, giggle, and sing. Share in a memorable celebration of Eating Good Food, Exercising and Actively Playing, Getting Enough Rest, and Getting Along with Friends and Family. The show is “Health & ME!” and as is clear by the title, each audience member will be invited

Thursday, July, 28th

  1. Toledo Museum of Art- 10am-3pm kiddos can build in the Imagination Playground (10am- 5pm), create & play in the Family Center (Theme: All about Birds), and learn & observe a Glass Blowing Demonstration in the Glass Pavilion (2-3pm)
  2. Summer $1 Movie (almost no charge) @ Franklin Park 16 at 10am- Norm of the North
  3. The Lunch at Levis concerts @ Noon-1:30pm- This week is Travis Aukerman Trio (FYI- they typically have at least six food trucks every week, and, within a three-block area of Levis Square, & at least six restaurants).

Friday, July 29th

  1. Rhythm and Rhyme Storytime @ the Main Branch Library in the Children’s Program Room 10am-11:30am – For children of all abilities and their families! Join us for an action-packed storytime program with music and movement that will have everyone moving and shaking! In partnership with the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

  3. Music at the Museum! It’s Friday! Music Outdoor Summer Series with The Grape Smugglers 6:30pm – 8:30pm on the Museum Grounds (If it rains concert moves indoors, will not be canceled)

Saturday, July, 30th & Sunday, July, 31

  1. Saturday- Wauseon Homecoming Parade! Wauseon Homecoming Parade to be held in downtown Wauseon. The parade begins at 11:00 am. Come for the parade and stay for all the Homecoming festivities!
  2. Saturday Outdoor Movie Night at Commodore Schoolyard (140 E. Indiana Avenue Perrysburg, OH 43551) – Bridge of Spies (PG-13) 141 min….bring a chair or blanket.  No admission fee.  In case of inclement weather, call the O-Deer Diner at (419) 874-7070 or check their Facebook page. 
  3. Saturday Concert Series at Ottawa Park – (6 PM – 8 PM) Chris Shutters Band (Classic Rock)
  4. Saturday-Harry Potter Countdown to Midnight Party at Barnes & Noble Fallen Timbers 8PM- Join us for a special Countdown to Midnight Party leading up to the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One & Two, a special rehearsal edition script book, which goes on sale 7/31 at midnight. The party will feature a special Muggle Wall where customers can share their favorite memories of Harry Potter as well as amazing giveaways and fun activities!
  5. Sunday @ 7:30pm Music Under the Starts (Theme: Broadway Showstoppers) is a great summer tradition in Toledo. With the Toledo Zoo Amphitheatre as your setting, you can unwind on a warm Sunday evening as you enjoy great music performed by the Toledo Symphony concert band. Each show features a fun musical theme that your family is sure to enjoy, and admission is FREE! While admission gates for these free concerts open at 6:00 p.m., the Toledo Symphony requests that the Amphitheatre does not open for guests to begin seating until 6:30 p.m. Guests entering in the Broadway Entrance during this time will be encouraged to visit our Concessions stands in the Main Plaza to grab some ice cream or a snack.

Monday, August, 1st

  1. Summer $1 Movie (almost no charge) @ Levis Commons 10am- Shaun the Sheep Movie
  2. Paddle on the Pond at W.W. Knight Nature Preserve Take a float on the pond! Canoe, paddles, life preservers, & instruction are provided. There is no charge & they supply EVERYTHING you need. This is a FREE event…Canoes first-come, first serve basis. Starts at 4pm on and goes till 7:30pm. Participants arriving at 7:30pm may paddle until 8pm.
  3. Creative Studio Club @ Kent Branch Library 4PM-5PM -Have you ever wanted to use a computer to make your own movie, song, graphic art or game? Then join the Creative Studio Club at Kent! Earn SRC prizes while participating and come see what you can make! (Children’s program, thinking it is geared to the elementary aged kiddos)
