  1. Summer $1 Movie (almost no charge) @ Fallen Timbers at 10am-Max
  2. Kindergarten Kickstart! I attended this with my daughter last week & it was really beneficial & the book bag filled with goodies was awesome! It really got her excited to start kindergarten!! kickstartDo you have a child who’s starting kindergarten in the fall? Join the Kindergarten KickStart! for an event that’s part Storytime, part information session, and a great big hour of fun!  Songs, stories, games and activity stations will prepare both you and your child for success in school.   3. Park It for Family Fun!- Park It @ Bowling Green City Park 520 Conneaut Ave. Bowling Green, OH 43402 Event starts at 6pm and the movie starts at 8:30pm….evening includes, Outdoor Concert, kid’s activities, sponsor giveaways, followed by a family-rated Movie under the stars.

 

Wednesday, August 10th

  1. Summer $1 Movie (almost no charge) @ Franklin Park 16 at 10am- Max
  2. Fire Safety at West Toledo Branch @ 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM Join us for a special fire safety presentation with the Toledo Fire Department!
  3. Fossil Park! Located at 5675 Centennial Road, Sylvania, Ohio (7:30am-8pm) Travel back in time 375-million-years ago when Northwest Ohio was a great sea teeming with life.  Bring a brush to assist in cleaning your fossils, as well as something in which to carry your buried treasures home with you.

 

Thursday, August 11th

  1. Summer $1 Movie (almost no charge) @ Franklin Park 16 at 10am- Max
  2. Toledo Museum of Art- kiddos can build in the Imagination Playground (10am- 5pm) and create & play in the Family Center 10am-3pm (Theme: Kinetic Art).
  3. Library Playdate @ Point Place Branch (10:30AM-12PM)-Come to the Library to mingle with neighbors and make new friends. We will provide toys, puzzles and more!  Grownups, feel free to bring coffee and a snack for your child.

 

Friday, August 12th

  1. Toledo Museum of Art- kiddos can build in the Imagination Playground (10am- 5pm) and create & play in the Family Center 3:30-8pm (Theme: Kinetic Art), also, Glassblowing Demonstrations @ 2pm.
  2. Music at the Museum! It’s Friday! Music Outdoor Summer Series with Raq the Casbah @ 6:30pm – 8:30pm on the Museum Grounds (If it rains concert moves indoors, will not be canceled)
  3. Noon Tunes on the Lawn @ Wildwood Preserve Metropark noon-1pm- Bring a lawn chair and your lunch to Wildwood Preserve. Relax for an hour on the Manor House grounds as local musical artists perform on the Gazebo.

 

Saturday, August 13th & Sunday, August 14th

Saturday DAY LONG FREE Festival!!!

Join the Toledo Lucas County Public Libraries for this daylong festival! See one show or spend the day crisscrossing this musical journey! Seating is limited and tickets are required for these FREE events.  FREE tickets will be available beginning 9:00 a.m. on July, 11, 2016.  Please note that each event takes place at a different location.  Questions may be directed to 419.259.5200.

Join Milk on her journey at Storytime featuring the back-to-school, must-have picture book of the year Milk Goes to School. Activities to follow!
  2. Saturday Concert Series at Ottawa Park – (6 PM – 8 PM) -Boffo (Classic Rock)
  3. Saturday Outdoor Movie Night at Commodore Schoolyard 8pm (140 E. Indiana Avenue Perrysburg, OH 43551) – Jem and the Holograms (PG) 118 min ….bring a chair or blanket. No admission fee.  In case of inclement weather, call the O-Deer Diner at (419) 874-7070 or check their Facebook page.
  4. Sunday-Toledo Museum of Art- kiddos can build in the Imagination Playground (noon- 5pm) and create & play in the Family Center noon-5pm (Theme: Colorful Conversations), also, Glassblowing Demonstrations @ 1pm & 2pm.

 

Monday, August 15th

  1. Summer Play Day @ Disney Store (one at 11:30am & 6:30pm) – Kids ages 3 and up are invited to Summer Play Day! (Receive a FREE TSUM TSUM wristband). Event includes Art of Animation, Trivia, Story Time, and Showtime!
  2. Paddle on the Pond at W.W. Knight Nature Preserve Take a float on the pond! Canoe, paddles, life preservers, & instruction are provided. There is no charge & they supply EVERYTHING you need. This is a FREE event…Canoes first-come, first serve basis. Starts at 4pm on and goes till 7:30pm. Participants arriving at 7:30pm may paddle until 8pm
