Frugal in Frog Town

Power Ranger costume purchased at The Kids Stop

Try going green to save green this Halloween!

I am sure the discussions have already started in your household; I know they have in mine.  What to be for Halloween?

Instead of dropping some serious dough on a new costume checkout what the local second-hand stores have to offer.  You might be pleasantly surprised; I know I was when I entered The Kids Stop.

As my little helper opened the door I was astonished at how clean and organized The Kids Stop was as I strolled into the entrance. It was like shopping at a little boutique minus the over-the-top gonna cost you a lot glam. I was able to actually maneuver the
stroller through the store.  There weren’t boxes filled with random crap or clothes stuffed onto racks halfway off the
hangers.  Clothes were organized nicely according to size, toys were clean and sanitized (the owner/employee that helped us
grabbed the ones that fell on the floor to be sanitized again, BONUS!), and shoes and all baby items were well-kept. They have a rounder with Halloween costumes on it that are clean, contain a nice variety to select from, and are reasonably priced.

The Kids Stop gets an A rating.
