The last day to visit Historic Sauder Village this season is Saturday, Nov. 1. Guests are invited to plan their final visit of the year and enjoy exciting seasonal activities while they’re here, including events like Eerie Nights, Woodcarver’s Show, Trunk or Treat and more.

Eerie Nights – Oct. 24 & 25
Sauder Village’s Halloween celebration, Eerie Nights, is Oct. 24 and 25 at 5:30 p.m. This fun and family-friendly event offers festive fall activities and a glimpse at Halloween traditions from a century ago.
Guests are invited to wear their best costumes for tricks and treats on 1920s Main Street, enjoy snacks at the 1920s Soda Fountain (or drinks in the Speakeasy for adults 21+), take a Halloween story stroll or a train ride, play themed games, meet a live tarantula and more.
“Eerie Nights is perfect for families looking for a festive, but not too scary, Halloween event,” said Sarah Rupp, Visitor Experience and Evaluation Manager. “See our 1920s Main Street transformed with period-accurate Halloween decor and learn all about fall traditions of the past.”

Woodcarver’s Show and Sale – Oct. 24 & 25
Also on Oct. 24 and 25 is the annual Woodcarver’s Show and Sale in Founder’s Hall. See more than 30 wood artisans from throughout the tri-state region gather at Sauder Village, browse their work and shop select vendors.
The show floor will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Friday and Saturday. Historic Village guests can explore the Woodcarver’s Show and Sale for the day at no additional cost. Those only coming to the Woodcarver’s Show can enjoy a discount with $10 show-only admission.

BBQ Buffet — Oct. 24
The Barn Restaurant will host a delicious BBQ Buffet on Friday, Oct. 24 from 4 to 7 p.m. Guests can enjoy a buffet featuring pulled pork, ribs, brisket, beans, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes with gravy, salad bar and more.

Trunk or Treat – Oct. 17 & 18; 24 & 25; 31 & Nov.1
Plan your fall camping trip with a stay at the Sauder Village Campground. Campers are invited to book a site during select October weekends for Trunk or Treat and fall activities. Trunk or Treat is every remaining Friday and Saturday in October, plus Nov. 1. Guests can also take a horse-drawn trolley ride and participate in a Halloween campsite decoration contest on these weekends.
