Blue Heron Bay Splash Park is located roughly an hour from Toledo, it’s basically a straight shot up 23. It is an enclosed Splash Park with lifeguards on duty, though there are no pools or large body of water on premises.

The park is enclosed and while no outside food is allowed in there are picnic tables just outside the gates, so feel free to pack a picnic lunch, or take advantage of their concession with reasonably priced lunch and snack items.

Family Zone Tower is an absolute blast for the older kiddos! Complete with water sprayers, slide, and the piece de resistance the red water dumping bucket, where kiddos gather beneath with anticipation as they count down till the bucket dumps 50 gallons of water……

Green & Blue Slides keeps the older kiddos busy for days, lol! No sooner are they at the bottom of the slide and they are rushing to get back in line. The blue slide is covered and much faster than the green, but the green seems to be a fan favorite and parents don’t have to worry, it is a slow enjoyable ride. FYI, riders must be 42 inches or taller to ride on the slides.
