Tropical Smoothie Café is one of my favorite restaurants! As a mom on the go a leisure lunch is often out of the question. I need something quick, delicious, and that will actually satiate me so I can continue running errands for home & work, picking up kiddos, and fulfilling my mommygations (mommy + obligations). My usual is the Island Green, it taste amazing and I feel ready to conquered the world after I drink it…totally energized! Unfortunately the Tropical Smoothie Café located closest to me is in Maumee so I only get my smoothie on when I am running errands on that side of town. That is until tomorrow when one of my motherhood dreams come true and the brand known for its innovative food and smoothies, will be celebrating the grand opening of its 400th location in Toledo!! That’s right, Toledo!!!And they are celebrating in a big way on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014.
The first five people in line at the new Tropical Smoothie Café, located at 5221 Monroe Street, will receive a free iPad Mini, a $25 gift card, and a voucher valid for one free smoothie a week for an entire year. The next 20 people in line will each receive a $25 gift card as well as a voucher for one free smoothie a week for an entire year. The next 70 people will receive a card valid for one free smoothie or food item. This fun-filled event will also have chances to win other prizes and giveaways. Doors open at 9 a.m.
