Oh how I have been longing for a cozy day!! Life has been a little crazy, as I am sure most of your can relate…we had school concerts & carols, cookie exchange, decorations & gifts to be purchased, news segment opportunities, Christmas parties & gatherings, touching volunteering experiences, etc. on top of all the everyday obligations & responsibilities. What helped me get through some of those events, especially those long days when I was running low on patience, was the thought of a relaxing and cozy day!! So here it is….I am finally experiencing that cozy day!! My inspiration for sharing my must-haves for this cozy day, Parachute Home, a newer company that specializes in providing the finest quality bedding at an affordable price. My must-haves is a symphony for the senses that help to comfort the body and warm the heart & soul. They include…
My favorite Pandora channel this time of year, Ray Charles Christmas, quietly playing in the background. The Christmas tree lights are on and the scent of cinnamon lingers in the room from the scented pinecones on the mantel.
The scent of cinnamon is only interrupted by the amazing aroma of Starbuck’s Christmas brew coffee warming my hands in my favorite coffee mug!
Christmas cards displayed on the wall of all the amazing people in our lives, all the friends and families….it warm my heart for they are our true blessings and gifts!
And the final and most important component of this symphony for the senses, that truly makes this cozy day is the view; my soul is overjoyed by the view from my couch.

We actually have a lazy day planned today! I got up early & snuggled with my baby, put her down for a nap then read a book for a bit. I’m checking my email now then will fix breakfast to entice the hubs to wake up, then we will all snuggle on the couch with a big fuzzy blanket & Netflix. The perfect cozy day!
