Pesto Please!….Go fish!!
Ingredients:
•Pepperidge Farm Goldfish Sandwich Bread
•1 Tablespoon Pesto
•Slice of Mozzarella
•3 slices of Tomato
•1 Lettuce leaf
Directions:
Spread pesto on both sides of bread. Assemble sandwich, add cheese, tomato slices, and lettuce top with other slice of bread.
Include a few of your child’s favorite goldfishes in their lunch, fruit, veggie juice, and a special note from mom!
To make back to school, or the first day/week of school extra special customize a goldfish bag/box with a special note and picture of your child at Goldfish My Way!

Our favorite vendor at the local Farmer’s Market has started selling big beautiful bunches of fresh basil for a dollar so I’ve been making batches of pesto–my kids love it and are ready to include it in every meal lol
Nothing beats fresh basil and for only a dollar! And homemade pesto is the best…my mouth is watering just thinking about it..ha-ha! I will be keeping my eyes open on Wednesday when we hit our local Farmer’s Market. I tried growing basil from seed put it has been a very very slow process. I also enjoy fresh basil on Capresa salad, mmm…I could talk basil all night, lol! Thanks for sharing Piper
