Calling all Jedi Masters, Superhero, Minecrafters, Ninjas, Movie lovers, Princesses, Wizards, & MORE…..Snapology has an epic summer planned for you!!
What is Snapology?
Snapology is a fun way to introduce robotics and science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) concepts to children. Snapology students also learn social skills, such as patience and teamwork. Snapology’s peer-reviewed curriculum is designed to benefit gifted and traditional students, as well as children with extra needs, including those with sensory processing and autism spectrum disorders.
Snapology offers a wide array of interactive, play-based activities for children ages 2-14 – including enrichment classes, birthday parties, workshops, camps, scouting events, and field trips – mainly using LEGO® bricks, K’Nex toys, and technology. The programs can be customized based on the number of children, age of children, and time allotment. Programs can also be broken down into individual classes, such as Superhero or Minecraft themed events, competition robotics teams, video game design, science classes, and engineering skill development programs. Finally, the classes emphasize collaboration, team-building, and presentation skills.
GIVE YOUR CHILD A NEW SUMMER EXPERIENCE THIS YEAR
Snapology is now offering play-based S.T.E.A.M. summer camps online. After offering hundreds of hours of virtual programs through the spring, they have adapted their curriculum to include additional fun movement breaks and long format content to keep your child engaged and active all day. Their 1, 2 and 3-hour programs have been thoroughly tested. See their testimonials below. This summer, Snapology is proud to be offering a wide variety of camp and class options to meet your needs.
Not Another Screen?
Their programs are designed so that the only use of the screen or device is to simply instruct the students. The core of their programs are always focused on building, creating, designing and problem solving. While the student will have the screen on, their focus will be on the LEGO bricks and other materials they have in front of them, just as if they were in person. The screen simply puts the teacher safely in the room with the group of children.
Therefore, you can feel good about having your child spend time in camp programs as their focus is not mindlessly on the screen. Their imaginations will soar as they build, learn and play with their instructor and fellow camp-mates.
