“Where a kid can be a kid” That infamous tag line is precisely what kiddos are longing for these days. After months of navigating everything online from field trips, tours, classroom learning, specials classes, after-school activities, Storytime, etc. and dealing with the glitches, frustrations, & at times, the loneliness of the screen kiddos need a place where they can just be a kid, a place where they can escape the adult issues of today’s world, they deserve a space where they can just be a kid!
What to Expect When You Visit
Entering
- When you enter Chuck E Cheese you will be asked if you are feeling okay and if you are not you will kindly be asked to visit another time when you are feeling better.
- Everyone’s temperature will be taken.
- You will then be asked to take a selfie of your group. This selfie will be used upon exiting to ensure the safety of the children and make certain children are only leaving with the adult(s) they came with.
- Lastly, everyone is asked to sanitize their hands with a sanitizer they provide.
Games & Rides
- Floor Markers are provided to encourage social distancing.
- Some games and/or rides that are too close to other games/rides are temporarily closed.
- After using games/rides there are Chuck E Cheese employees going around with sanitizer spay sanitizing and wiping down buttons, handles, screens, etc.
- Thankfully tokens are a thing of the past, the cards being tapped lightly across each game/ride helps limit the exchange of potential germs.
Dining Area
- Again social distancing has been practiced with some tables being temporarily closed.
- There are hand sanitizers near the beverage station.
- All dishes are disposable.
- Tables and benches are wiped down after each guest leaves.
We felt extremely safe when we visited and kiddos had a much needed vacation from their screens and the adult issues of today’s world.
