The BEST Patio in Toledo

The weather is finally perfect for dining alfresco! Who doesn’t enjoy sitting out on a patio? Let’s be honest, when you are in direct sun with no breeze it can become uncomfortable quickly, am I right?! What if I told you I literally found the perfect patio in Toledo, I’m talking about a comfortable breeze coming off of the water, epic view, and shade!

A view of a waterfront with modern buildings and a blue sky, seen from beneath an umbrella at a café.

I’ve been to them all, The Heights, Real Seafood, Souk, Rosie’s Italian Grill, etc. I’m born and bred, and now raising my own family in Toledo, thus, when it comes to Toledo I have the patio atmosphere down! That is until recently!

The Docks in downtown Toledo have some of the best food & drinks, what do you have a taste for? Italian, Seafood, or Mexican cuisine? The Docks have all three but only one holds an epic view. El Vaquero at The Docks in downtown Toledo is literally the only restaurant that has a second-floor/story patio with a view of downtown Toledo, that also provides shade and a cool breeze off the water. That’s right, I said, second floor/story patio, it’s new and it’s perfection! They offer the BEST Happy Hour drinks, they will even make you sugar-free if that’s what you please…checkout out my skinny girl Margarita…

A close-up of two colorful cocktails on a table with a view of the city skyline and river in the background. The first drink is a green cocktail garnished with an orange slice and a red umbrella, while the second is a clear drink adorned with a slice of orange, lime, and a purple flower.

But don’t take my word for it, try it out yourself, meet up with your BFF to have drinks and dinner, or a date night for you and your spouse/partner, or if you’re savvy, a family night out!
