Schools almost out!! Your kiddos have worked so hard all year. They deserve to be rewarded. Why not take the entire family to an out of this world performance to celebrate the culmination of an awesome school year? OVO Cirque du Soleil will provide the perfect artistic marriage of wonderment and awe that will leave your family longing for more!
About the show
OVO, meaning “egg” in Portuguese, is a headlong rush into a colorful ecosystem teeming with life, where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy and movement.
When a mysterious egg appears in their midst, the insects are awestruck and intensely curious about this iconic object that represents the enigma and cycles of their lives. It is love at first sight when a gawky, quirky insect arrives in this bustling community and a fabulous ladybug catches his eye – and the feeling is mutual.
The cast of OVO is comprised of 50 performing artists from 12 countries specializing in many acrobatic acts. One highlight of OVO is the stunning Flying Act in which a group of scarabs soar high above the stage, from both edges to the middle landing on a platform.

I am a mentor at DeVeaux school. I’ll miss seeing the kids I work with. I asked each one to make sure they keep reading all summer long.
I’m going to miss a little bit of kid free time..
I will miss my grandchildren having homework to help take away their boredom. This would be a wonderful experience!
We are a homeschool family so not having to plan lessons will be amazing
I’m going to miss having a 1st grader and 2nd grader this year. Every year they get older and I get more emotional!
I am going to miss the staff at Hiawatha the most! They are amazing.
I will miss the students and the school events.
We will miss all the kids. My kids moved this year and the absolutely love their new school they will miss their friends and seeing them everyday. I personally will miss my cleaning time when they’re at school…lol
I will miss having a quiet nap time, but look forward to having the big kids at home.
I’m going to miss the quiet mornings.. my two tend to fight over everything these days!
We are switching schools for the 2017-2018 school year after a rough year in 3rd grade. I am sad to leave the school that has been so wonderful for the past 3 of our 4 years. I’ve met some amazing people and my son has made some wonderful friendships. I am very excited for our next adventure and I’m trying so hard to boost my son’s confidence and self esteem as that has left him this past year. 😦 So in short I’m going to miss the comfort of the familiar as we have to navigate a totally new experience this fall.
My daughter is in preschool and it goes all year round since its at her daycare. No break for us
I think the only thing I’ll miss is my daughter’s teacher. Here’s hoping her teacher next year is just as awesome!
My oldest is the only one in school right now and next year he is switching schools. Bittersweet ❤️
I will miss school and the stability and early intervention it provides for my son with disabilities. He hates change and daycare is extremely rough for him.
I’ll miss the excitement of my child getting to see his friends each school day! This would be so fun!
I’m going to miss my one on one time with my youngest.
My daughter will be starting preschool in the fall so I will miss being able to see her everyday and having the freedom to do whatever we want whenever we want!
I will misa the park in our neighborhood being empty and quiet for my little ones.
I will miss the 2 hour break twice a week that I got when the kids went to preschool. With 3 3 and under it gave me a chance to catch up on things. I will miss the programs the kids participated in.
Megan, third grade was a tough year for my son as well. What is it about third grade?? 😦
We are also switching schools for the 2017-2018 school year. Excited for a change, but sad to leave friends.
He hasn’t passed state testing so the state of ohio will hold him back. Hes had quite a struggle overall too. 😦 He’s been accepted at the new school for 4th grade but they don’t have a spot for 3rd grade. I’m stressed trying to figure out what to do with him. I dont want to send him to another school for a year to move him again.
The amazing kind hearted teachers that love our children so much!
Amen to that!!! ❤
I will not miss them being in school.I love having the summer to do things !!
I will miss the structure for our 7 yr old son with ADHD. Summers are kind of a free for all at our house with 2 parents who work during the week!
I will definitely miss having kid free time during school days. But I’m so excited for all the fun we’re going to have this summer 🙂
I’m not really going to miss anything. In fact I’m going to try to enjoy every last minute before my only baby goes offta to kindergarten in the fall. I’m one sad momma!
Savor the summertime momma! ❤
My baby is starting kindergarten next year. I am going to miss all of our one on one time together.
I’m going to miss going to the park with my toddler during the school year. She’s little and often gets trampled if we go when the bigger kids are out and about. So currently my favorite part of the school year is being able to take my little places while the big kids are still in class. Lol!
Seeing Ben having fun with his friends and having fun learning, but he is all signed up for the summer reading program!
I’m going to miss the semi-quiet of only having one kid home haha. Plus I am going to miss saying I have a preschooler and I have to get used to my first baby being in kindergarten.
I will miss the engagement that my children have with the awesome teachers and staff. I will also miss both of my kiddos being in the same school building!
I would love to bring my 2 girls!! they would love it. I am going to miss the kids just being in school! my 5 year old is a busy body and gets bored easy!
